I've tried the Rainforest Chai and the Rooibos Chai and love both of them. I used to make my own chai with decaf tea and spices, but these pre-mixed chais are much easier. The spices in the chai give it enough flavor that I can use way less sugar than I would put in plain tea.

Mate is the National Drink of Paraguay, South America. It is very refreshing and is good against Kidney disease and Arthritis. It also helps one to lose weight. My husband and I drink it every morning. We start the day off with Mate and drink it during the day too. Here in the US it is considered a Health Tea. The following South American countries drink Mate: Paraguay, Uruguay Argentina, Chile, Brazil, there are one or two other countries, however the above mentioned are the main Mate drinking countries of South America. The Argentinian Gauchos, (Cowboys) drink Mate consistently as their diet consists mainly of meat and rice. Mate has vitamins so the Gauchos use it as a vegetable substitute.
Mate is very good for your health and has a very soothing affect , also alleviates stress. So I recommend, drink Mate and enjoy it.

Yerba Mate is a good tea to drink if you want an energy drink. It has the pick me up boost that coffee gives you without the jitters and side effects coffe gives you. I find it a great alternative to coffee since I work the night shift. I find that it also curbs my appetite and therefore helps me lose wieght. The Orange and lemon flovored mates are great to drink in the summer. These flavored mates are also good served cold as an ice tea, quite refreshing on a hot summer day!
