Fresh from the Gardens in Hangzhou, this 2008 First Flush Dragonwell is a superior Tea. It brews up as a Fresh, Light cup, with an aroma reminiscent of a grassy field after a Spring Rain. Emperor Qianlong (1736-1796 A.D.) of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911 A.D.) proclaimed Dragonwell to be "The Imperial Tea." Dragonwell is from the beautiful West Lake District - near Hangzhou in the Zhejiang Province, long revered for its beautiful, serene scenery and exquisite Tea. Dragonwell is classified into 13 grades, and only the first three grades are top-quality Tea. The leaves are flat and straight, with a yellowish, emerald-green color. Use 2 teaspoons per 12 to 16 oz pot. Caffeine: 20 mg / 6 oz cup
