Pronounced "Ko-Kay-Cha"

Kokeicha translated from Japanese means "formed tea".

Kokeicha is a specialty Japanese tea prepared from a fine green tea powder similar to Matcha.

A special process whereby water is added to the tea powder, it is kneaded and then extruded through a machine (similar to making fresh pasta) and finally dried to result in a "pine needle" like form.

This tea is excellent for cooking ..keeps its shape in baked goods, sprinkle on ice cream, gives crunchy texture... excellent with matcha based cooking ..good with salt to make a matcha salt sprinkle on grilled fish..

Use 2 teaspoons per 16 to 24 oz pot.

Caffeine: 20 mg / 6 oz cup.
